We are tending Mia for the day while Heidi & Gary are gone. She was going to stay here until Sunday, but now she is going to Lisa's house. So, today Teylor said to me, "I wish Mia was sleeping over here!" Then she turned to Mia and said, "Are you going to go to your uncle Tina's house?" I started laughing at that so she said to me, "Who is Uncle Tina? She's a girl, but we call her uncle." I'm not sure I should take my kids to the Rasmussen parties. Teylor hears too much...

HAHA - that made me laugh. She picks up on everything! She's so funny. She still says to me, "Your sister Isabel needs some help." It cracks me up.
Uncle Tina is one tough explanation. Maddie kept asking about her and I finally told her. It was painful.
So, how did you explain it to her? I really don't want to have to do that. If Tina sticks around for too much longer Vivi is going to start asking questions. Ugh.
I laughed so hard! I don't have an uncle tina to explain to anyone, I feel left out!
If she's around til' Mia's older, I'm just going to say she's a guy. From what I've heard, I think she'll believe it.
I think we are all going to learn to be more tolerant. Honestly, she seemed kind of nice to me Sunday. I wonder if any explanation other than Robyn's friend is needed. I think we should tell the kids we made a mistake and thought that "Uncle" was a nickname - we better just call her Tina or maybe Teenie Weenie.
Ok - RNST.
Pam, your thought was really nice and quite uplifting until the teenie weenie comment.
