This weekend we decided to take the kids up to the Alpine slide for some fun. I didn't know they built a new slide called the Alpine Coaster. It is so much fun! It's like a huge roller coaster that you can't fall out of (like the Alpine slide). You sit in the sled on the way up and then you control how fast you go on the way down. I loved it! It's open for 2 more weeks and the leaves were awesome. It's a must-do for October!

Hey - we did the Alpine slide a couple weeks ago! I was maybe gonna blog about it, but I forgot. We didn't really know the difference between the coaster and the slide until we were riding up on the lift. It looked cool! I don't know if I could have gone with Oliver though. Anyway, it sounds fun! It's so pretty up there.
Fun! I remember doing the Alpine Slide as a kid and everyone made fun of me for going so slow. People behind me had to get off and run ahead of me...how embarrassing.
I remember that! Jessie has your genes - she went so slow! Luckily Jed was right behind her so I don't think it slowed anyone else down to much. She blamed it on thinking that you pulled back on the lever - not push forward (ya right). She was embarrassed too.
It sound like a blast - we'll have to plan a full family affair next year when we all go to Park City.
I love Park City and the Alpine Slide! We used to go there every August, but we haven't for the past couple of years. Do they still have the giant zip line? Thats what I want to try.
They should make the alpine slide into a waterslide.
That would be way fun - but I'm sure you would have an atomic wedgie at the bottom. Or a ripped suit. Maybe I'll just sit at the bottom and watch.
