Hello.

So, tell me if you think this is weird... Jed calls me and tells me that his friend, who is going through a divorce, just won 2 tickets on a Carnival cruise and wants Jed to come with him. Jed was all excited about it and just assumed that I would think it was a great opportunity to go on a free cruise. My response, "are you kidding me?" I think it's weird for a married guy to go on a carnival cruise without his wife. I asked him what he will be doing while he is on the ship because all there is to do is drink, watch wet t-shirt contests, eat and gamble. He was looking for relaxing... ya right. So, I put a firm NO out on the table and he was good enough to call his friend and tell him he can't go. I'm right, right?

You are SO right. I'm with you. What are two guys going to do on a cruise together? Either fall in "love" with some carnival cruise girl or each other.

If you love him, let him go! He need to unwind a little.

I love you Jen! I don't love you as much, Loud Boy. I let Jed do LOTS by himself. I am drawing the line at gay cruises. hahaha.

Jaime YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!! That is just plain WEIRD. A cruise with a newly divorced friend?? Uuhhh....no. There can't be anything good going on there. I would be worried about a little too much "relaxing". Way to put your foot down, Jaime!

Funny comment Jeni. I like that. Loud Boy is full of crap. He's just trying to get you riled up. He would never go. I agree with the ladies. It would be a big fat NO!

I have been on a Carnival cruise and it is full of skanky hoes. I was not one of them. After my cruise as a single gal myself back in the days . . . I will NEVER let my daughters go!

It wasn't so much the passengers, but the crew. Scary! They would not leave me and and my friend alone. We caught one in our room who understood English perfectly well when it was time to ask for a tip, but seemed to conveniently forget it when we screamed, "Get the hell out our room!!" They have keys to your room, you know.

I think Jed's friend should give the tickets to you and Jed. That's the solution.

Perfect Valerie! Jaime, I'll watch your kids.

I still can't decide what to think. But I don't think I'd want Gary going, especially with all the so-called skanks that go on cruises.

That is hillarious Jaim - I can't believe Jed would want to go- it sounds so lame and not fun with a newly divorced guy. Your thinking on this subject is very clear. You really are understanding with his extra-curricular activities - but this is too much! How funny - shanky hoes - and scary crew members. Wow - dad and I are done with cruises anyway - they are lame.
