About a month ago, Mike (loudboy) was picking up his girls from piano lessons and once again landscaping my yard in his mind. Jed and I aren't very good at yard stuff so when Mike volunteered to landscape for us I was so excited. Jed will love it when it's done... Anyways, so we've taken out all of our old crap and we are going to start planting new stuff today!!! I'm so excited and so amazed at Mike's generosity. He's come over a few times to prune the trees, add new sprinklers, till the ground (yes - that's a lot) and today we are going to plant. I will take pictures as we go. Between the Rasmussen's, we're going to keep Mike busy. How are the shutters, Mandi?

Hey I want some of those too, mom! I'm having fun planting stuff in my yard and I could always use free ones.
So that's why Mike hasn't been blogging! That's exceptionally nice of him. I bet you don't have a present for him that's as good as mine, though.
He's getting vinyl shutters for me free from his friend that owns a siding business. They're supposed to be in May 29 and I will for sure post pictures of them. Is he cool, or what?!
