8 Things You are all DYING to know about me...

Thanks to Maddie for passing this list on to me. Here goes nothin...

1. I was a pretty irresponsible teenager (as my parents will tell you). I wrecked a mint green Infiniti Q45 into the owners brick mailbox and did $1500 damage to the car. Ya, I was babysitting and I did NOT have permission to take there saweet car.

2. A few months after that fiasco, I was babysitting again (why did they keep calling me?) and I ran into a big pole with an old and dented truck. I didn't tell anyone about that one. What's one more dent?

3. When Jed and I broke up my senior year, I went a little wild and went camping with 10 boys and just me. I was the only sober person and I slept in a car with a total stranger. I am horrified that I did this now, and I would KILL any daughter/niece who ever followed in my footsteps. ps - the guys were complete gentlemen. I had a gaurdian angel for sure.

4. When I was in college, I worked at Taco Time. My boss was in a huge panic because one of the machines had broken down so he asked me to go get him a Phillips screwdriver. I frantically looked and looked through the tool box and returned empty handed. I told him that I couldn't find any Phillips because they all said Stanley.

5. Me and Heidi went to London and Paris about 10 years ago. While we were in Paris we got in a fight about whether or not to go to McDonalds to eat. Apparantly Heidi can live on a baguette and hot chocolate for the whole day. I left her without a map, or any idea what the name of our hotel was. I didn't speak any french and I was LOST. I called Jed in SLC and cried to him, of course he was helpless. I wandered for about 4 hours and finally stumbled across my hotel. Good times. I now know that I have to be fed at least 3 times a day, or I'm unreasonable.

6. I was talking to Jed just the other night about this trip to London and he asked if we took a boat from London to Paris. I told him no that we had taken the train. I then wondered out loud, "Is there water between London and Paris??" I honestly didn't know and now I am questioning Jeds intelligence... How in the hell do you take a train through water? Please help.

7. I have a phobia of talking on the phone. It makes me so nervous and I always feel like an idiot after I talk to someone. I have one friend who calls me about 3 times a day and I'm finally getting to the point where I answer her phone calls and I'm not so uncomfortable talking to her on the phone. Although, 3 times a day is WAY TOO MUCH. Who has time for that?

8. I LOVE the fall!!! I can't wait for walks and hikes in the cool weather, leaves, baseball playoffs (go Yankees), football (BYU & maybe this year the 49ers will be worth watching- when I was pregnant with Jess I would blow-off my pre-natal classes to watch Steve Young rock the casba. He was my FAVORITE) and Halloween. It's the best time of the year.

There you have it! Mom - You're IT! Good Luck.

There is so much to this post to comment on... I'll go with the water... England is an island, and to get to Paris, you can travel on a Channel Tunnel train. Problem solved!

Oh, and I love Halloween too!

PS - I didn't know that off the top of my head... I went to Google! LOL!

Great post Jaime - I was wondering if you'd tell the poop story in Victoria Secrets - that one of my faves. Crap what am I going to write??? Mine are not are interesting as yours! What is weird is that I knew you went camping with them - I must have really trusted you!

That was really funny Jaime! Now I know why Heidi is so skinny. And I can't believe your friend calls you THREE times a day!! That would make me insane. Three times a MONTH is too much for me.

I LOVE FALL TOO!

What a super fun post, Jaime! Loved every last one of those things I was DYING to know! I remember when you wrecked that expensive car when you were babysitting. That was VERY unfortunate. :) I also remember you going on that camp out. You WERE quite the crazy teenager!

I LOVED your "can't find the Phillips screwdriver" story. That really made me laugh. You are too funny.

You must be related to all of us Millers somehow. We have ALL got the awnry as hell w/o enough food gene. heehee. (NOT a laughing matter when it is actually happening!)

How can you be a piano teacher and have phone phobia? Sheesh - I feel like I'm on the phone with students/parents of students 24/7 ... well, a lot, anyway.

I love the fall too. But - I HATE sports. How did that happen?

Thanks for a good read. I'm so excited to see everyone in September!

I remember the Infinity experience well. The owner (a member of our ward) and I didn't quite see eye to eye on the payment which caused a few problems, but you ended up giving up your babysitting fee, plus a 500 hundred dollar deductible. You handled it better than I did.

I didn't hear about the truck. Whose was that? I'm just glad you turned out to be so awesome. I too would enjoy hearing the Victoria Secret poo story. One of my favorites.

That was such a great list! Wow you were a crazy teenager! They seriously asked you to tend again? Yeah Heidi no wonder you are skinny!!! I live to eat! (obviously) About the phone. I thought I was the only one. I HATE HATE HATE to talk on the phone. I would rather drive across town to see if a particular store has some stupid item rather than have to call. I too have a friend who calls me a million times a day. It drives me crazy. I usually don't answer more than once a day and when I do it's always something stupid. "Whatcha doin? So I got some glue sticks today"...yada yado who the hell cares!
About Fall, I hear ya sister! Best season in the world! Everyone knows that about me. I obsess about fall and halloween. sport, no but fall yes!

Jaime - I am laughing out loud here all alone by myself. Thanks for some good entertainment. I remember you camping with all those boys and I thought your mom was CRAZY! The phillips incident reminds me of my kids. (HEHE) I love everything about fall also and I'm really looking forward to it. Our family reunion will come at a great time. Looking forward to it.
