#1: Never try to drive between 2 gas pumps to save time. There may be a big rock garbage can in between the pumps that is just out of your line of sight. If you hit it, it will dent your car and scratch the crap out of it, but don't worry - it will do absolutely nothing to the garbage can. (One great thing about this dent is the fact that we went to St. George this weekend and the temperature was over 30 degrees and the dent popped right out! Saweet. Now we just have lots of gnarly scratches.)
#2: While driving on I-15 in the car pool lane, when it's dark, NEVER hit a dishwasher that is sitting in the middle of the lane. It will do a LOT of damage. It was a good thing Jed was driving this time, because I'm sure I would've swerved and hit the car right next to us and caused much more damage.
No worries - the Honda still runs great.

That is so sad. I love that car. And could you expound on trying to drive between two gas pumps?? Do you mean you tried to go in between two where the curb and all that is??
well i feel your pain im the same kind of driver it took me 3 times to get my license as well and have recently (well july) hit a pole and rueined my bumper and corner panel and the pole was fine i thought i was the only bad driver in the family im glad we are in the same club

Zak - I have to use my hands to explain it. There wasn't a curb, just a garbage can. I know- it was retarded.
That's just bad luck if you ask me. :) Oh - the extra hassles in life.
Well, I had to take the drivers test 4 times when I was 16... but I haven't been in an accident in a looooong time. Do I still get in?
A dishwasher in the middle of the lane?? So does your insurance cover that? Hopefully. Aaah driving. I don't have a great track record either.

Isn't hitting a dishwasher like hitting a cow in the road? Wow, you're lucky you weren't hurt! Let's see, in the past two years I've, hit a deer - yeah, killed it. awful!! ran out from behind a fence and whack! then, her neck snapped and she flipped around and bashed in my door. it was so awful. I wacked a yellow barrier pole, backed into another car, drove over my own garbage can, backed into the a light pole..and that's all.
